This is a mix between the granite fines and the #57 rock. It is great to use as a base for driveways or walkways. It is even used as a base for our highways by the D.O.T. It packs down amazingly well allowing for a firm base.

This rock is also called Screenings or Decomposed Granite. This is a finely ground granite rock. It is also great to use as a base for walkways or driveways because of its ability to pack down so well. We highly recommend this rock to anyone wanting to make a stone patio or walkway out of flagstone, but do not want to use mortar in between the joints, or as a base.

This rock is about ¼ to ½ of an inch in size and is great to use for driveways or walkways. It has a bluish gray appearance.

#57 Granite Rock

This highly popular rock is about 1 inch in size, and is great to use for driveways, parking areas, walkways, or any other such use. It is widely used by the public, state, and commercial companies because of its relatively easy ability to locate and its cheap price.

#4 Granite Rock

This rock is about 1 to 2 inches in size. It commonly used during the installation of septic tanks and is also used by the railroads. It is generally used in areas where drainage is a problem because its relatively large size creates an easy passage for water to flow through.

Surge Stone

This rock is about 3 inches to 8 inches in size. It is also great for drainage problems and can be used to stop soil erosion. It is mainly used around French drainage pipes and ditches for this reason.
