Stones and boulders are always in stock and ready to be delivered to your site. Our bulk stone and palletized stone are used in landscaping projects ranging from decorative ponds to patio floors and walls.

1 to 3 inch Mountain River Rock

These are a multi-colored river rock that comes out of a dry creek bed in the Tennessee Mountains. They are mainly used for ponds, but can also be used as mulch.

3 to 7 inch Mountain River Rock

These are also river rock that comes out of a dry creek bed in the Tennessee Mountains. They can also be used in ponds and for border stone around your plant beds.

7 to 14 inch Mountain River Rock

These river rocks come out of a dry creek bed in Tennessee Mountains. They are mainly used for ponds, but can be used as border stones to edge around your plant beds, driveways, or walkways.

12 to 36 inch Mountain River Rock

These are boulder rocks that come out of a dry creek bed in the Tennessee Mountains. They are also used for ponds, as border stones, or they can be used to accentuate flower beds.

This is a mix of all of the Mountain River Rock. The size can range from 1 inch to 24 inches. This is mainly used in ponds.

Palletized Stone

We have one of the largest selections of palletized stone in North Carolina. From Veneer stone to Flagstone to Boulders, we will have what you need. We offer only the best when it comes to the quality of our stone. The typical use of these stones is designated by the following classification keys.

  • V - Thin Veneer Stone: This stone is used for veneering of walls, dry stacked walls, around ponds, or even to build walkways and patios {though it is strongly recommended that this stone be set in mortar for these to uses).
  • T - Thick Flagstone: This is used predominantly for patios, walkways, as stepping stones, or for waterfalls on ponds.
  • Bu - Building Stone: This stone is used by contractors for walls on buildings, fireplaces, retaining walls, and dry stacked walls.
  • F - Fieldstone: This stone for accenting areas, as a border stone, around ponds, and retaining walls.
  • B - Boulders: These are usually used as accent rock, around ponds, and as landmarks.
  • X - Other: This is anything that is not included in our other headings.

Mohave (V, T, Bu)

This stone is one of the most popular and widely used stones that we carry. It is a predominantly rust and gray colored rock with cream and tan colors mixed in.

White Chocolate (V, T, Bu)

This stone is a mixture of white and brown. This makes it work well in landscaped areas.

Dove Gray (V, T, Bu)

This stone is predominantly gray with a smooth surface throughout. It works as a building stone or on any landscape.

Mountain Mist (V, T, Bu)

This stone has several shades of gray and brown mixed throughout.

Hooper's Creek (V, T, Bu)

This stone has mainly different shades of brown with a little bit of gray mixed in. It gives you a rustic look and is used by many as underpinning on their log cabins and on their fireplaces.

Sea Mist (V, T, Bu)

This stone is predominantly gray with a greenish tint, and it does well around fish ponds with its greenish tint.

Midnight Sparkle (V, T, Bu)

As the name indicates this stone is mainly black and looks as if diamonds are glistening at you. It looks great as a walkway or patio with white rock in between the joints to add contrast.

Cove Gray (V, T, Bu)

This stone resembles the Dove Gray, but does not have as smooth a texture. It also has more color variation than the Dove Gray.

Silver Sparkle (V, T)

This stone is silver in appearance, with mica spread throughout giving it a slight sparkle. It is great to use for walls or as a walkway.

Emerald (V, T, Bu)

This unique stone is gray and green in color. It is a uniformed stone adding a flowing aspect to any walkway or patio.

Mountain Crystal (V, T)

This fairly uniformed stone is really dark gray with tan and bronze colors mixed in.

Pennsylvania Fieldstone (F)

This stone has different shades of gray and lilac mixed throughout. Moss and Lichens can be seen growing on this stone. We have it in different sizes ranging from small to large.

Tennessee Fieldstone (F)

This stone has many different shades of brown and tan mixed throughout. It is a kind of sandstone, and we have it in small and large sizes.

Round Mountain River Rock (X)

This is the palletized version of our other mountain river rock. They are pretty uniformed round rocks that are palletized according to their sizes. Our sizes include: Small Round- 2 to 3 inches, Medium Round- 4 to 8 inches, and Large Round- 8 to 16 inches.

Mountain River Slicks (X)

This rock is the same as the Round River Rock with the exception that they are thin and flat. They resemble a thick pancake. They are also palletized according to their sizes. Our sizes include: Small Flat- 2 to 3 inches, Medium Flat- 4 to 8 inches, and Large Flat- 8 to 16 inches.

Porche Pink Boulders (B)

This is the really large version of our porche pink rock. It is a pinkish purple and white boulder.

Ice Boulders (B)

This is a blue and white boulder. The blue and white colors form swirls around the rock giving it an icy cold feel.

These are rather large boulders ranging from the size of a basketball, up to 3000 lb boulders.

Desert Red Boulders (B)

These look just like the Desert Red rock. They are not quite as large as the other boulders with the largest being about three times larger than a basketball.

These look just like the red lava rock. They are also not quite as large as the other boulders with the larger ones being about 3 times larger than a basketball.
